Sponsorship

Kiso will sponsor the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services status of residence and will use a licensed immigration attorney. The company explains the contract term and the renewal point before you give notice.

Relocation. Temporary housing for eight weeks, a flight, and a Japanese-language course during the first year.

The work

The lab is looking for someone who has taken a coating from a bench result to a pilot line. The working language of the research group is English. Shop-floor conversations are in Japanese, and a colleague interprets while you learn. The office is in Osaka, a short walk from the lab.

Responsibilities

  • Design experiments and write them up so the next shift can repeat them.
  • Work with process engineers on the pilot line.
  • Keep a clean record of what failed.
  • Present once a month to the product team, in plain language.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree and three years in materials, chemistry, or process development.
  • Evidence you can take a result off the bench.
  • English. Japanese is taught, not assumed.
  • A passport and documents the attorney can file without surprises.

This page describes what the employer says they will file. It is not immigration advice. Confirm the route with the authority that issues the visa.
